Each event runs across a 2-month cycle - from registration all the way through to feedback and improvement for the next round.
Build Up
Week 1-3: Registration
Registration is open. Teams sign up and pay the entry fee (£15 for students, £25 for professionals). Target 20+ teams per event.
Week 3: Lockdown
Registration closes. All registered teams are locked in.
Week 4: Confirmation
Confirmation calls - every team is contacted individually to confirm attendance. No-shows are replaced from a waitlist.
The Event
Week 1: Selection
Finance quiz held for all confirmed teams. Negative marking applies. Top 4 teams selected for the debate night.
Week 2: Debate Night
The Debate Night. Semi Finals + Grand Finale. Cash prize and certificates awarded on the night.
Week 3-4: Feedback
Feedback collected from participants, judges, and audience. Improvements made. Preparation begins for the next event cycle.
